TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ATTEMPT AT WORLD RECORD
To celebrate the first anniversary of Chaplin’s World, we invite you to what we hope will be the largest gathering ever of people dressing up as The Tramp. Following a tally of those gathered for a souvenir photo in front of the Manoir de Ban, a big Easter egg hunt will be organised in the park.
As a consequence, a number of requirements must be met.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Only people wearing the required fancy-dress costume, as approved by the adjudicator, will be able to participate in the Easter egg hunt and the world record attempt, in accordance with the information provided on the website. (See also clauses 2 and 3, below.)
Admission will be limited to visitors who purchased the special “first anniversary” ticket. (See clause 4, below, for information about ticket sales outlets, and conditions.)
Participants must adhere to the organisers’ instructions regarding the proceedings and validation of the competition, as well as those concerning the start of the Easter egg hunt.
The organizer reserves the right to deny access to the Easter egg hunt.
The organizer retains the right to increase the quota of participants, if necessary.
Visitors entering the contest agree to their image being used in any Chaplin's World media (press, advertising, etc.); there will be no financial compensation for the use of their image, or that of children accompanying them, under any circumstance.
