After two years of construction work, the renovation and transformation of the Manoir and its annexes is now in its final phase. The project, which also involved the construction of a large, tasteful, modern building and the landscaping of the grounds, posed significant architectural challenges. The transformation of the estate into a museum also meant creating and redeveloping the access infrastructure: the access roads, a new pedestrian area, a bike path, drop-off areas and parking spaces for motorbikes, bicycles and coaches, and access to the 230-space on-site car park.
