“Charlot & Mademoiselle Cello,” a mad-cap pantomime concert featuring Pierre Mayer and Julie Hereish, will be followed by a concert screening of “The Kid” as part of a tribute evening to the comedic genius of Charlie Chaplin. Pierre Mayer is one of the few people who is licensed to play Chaplin’s famous Tramp on stage. For him, it is an immense privilege to practice a trade where communication and freedom of expression are at the very heart of his art. So come celebrate Chaplin’s 130th birthday with the Geneva Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Philippe Béran, on Friday 6 December at 8pm, at Victoria Hall !
