From July 17, 2017, the attic of Manoir de Ban will play host to a video installation by Eileen Hofer. The work, Tomorrow the Birds Will Sing, consists of a series of videos depicting the interior of homes in Havana, a city where the young filmmaker shot two of her documentary films, Horizontes and Nuestro Mar. Visitors will be transported to Cuba, and Charlie Chaplin along with them.
The idea for the project came to Hofer while she was traveling across the globe, when she witnessed the Tramp's universal comedic appeal.
Climb up to the 3rd floor of the Manoir to see this beautiful artistic endeavor, sponsored by Jaeger-LeCoultre.
The video installation will be available from July 17 to August 17, 2017.
