Chaplin’s World presents a new, family-friendly show featuring acts such as duo trapeze, aerial silks, teeterboard and all manner of contortions to bring you enchantment, chuckles and thrills.
Performances will be held within the intimate, immersive atmosphere of the 400-seat big top at the heart of the Chaplin’s World park.
With all its poetic beauty and humour, this must-see 50-minute show will fill you with wonder!
A Clown's Dreams recounts the captivating tale of a once-famous clown who has ended up as a vagrant living out of a cardboard box. Amid the idyllic setting of the Chaplin’s World museum, the big top hosts a stirring, laughter-filled show.
When the crotchety "tramp" figure meets a group of lively street children, they perform a series of circus acts that soften his tough exterior. Together, they help him rediscover his inner clown, all while sharing their magic tricks and juggling skills.
One brave little member of the group forms a particularly strong bond with the tramp, recognising his yearning to transform back into a clown and prompting him to don his red nose once more. The crowning moment of the show sees the clown reincarnated and performing hilarious stunts, to the delight of the audience.
The show concludes with an inspiring sequence as the children hold up placards with quotations from Charlie Chaplin and Louis de Funès. These closing comments encapsulate the message of the show that “a day without laughter is a day wasted”. The tramp and children then share a warm hug, celebrating the strength that lies in togetherness and laughter.
A Clown's Dreams is a stirring and whimsical show that blurs the lines between reality and fantasy. It reminds us how people’s lives can change in wondrous ways through small acts of kindness that reconnect them with their inner child.

My focus in writing this piece has been the power of compassion and joy. The story of this washed-up clown who has lost both his art and his zest for life demonstrates that people can thrive in difficult circumstances when given the right support.
By performing their circus acts, the children strike a chord with the tramp, reflecting the message that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference.
The clown is then reborn from darkness, revealing the healing nature of art and benevolent humanity.
The inspiring quotations from Charlie Chaplin and Louis de Funès add a universal note to the show that reminds us of the importance of laughter in life. Indeed, we should aim to find joy in the everyday because “a day without laughter is a day wasted”.
A Clown's Dreams invites audiences to explore their deepest emotions, let go of their prejudices and celebrate the magic of shared humanity. Centering around the notion that even the simplest moments can be of great significance, the show reminds us that laughter is a universal language that touches the heart.

Since 1998, the Jura Circus School has been actively involved in circus arts training for young people.
Whether for fun or with the intention of making a career out of it, it is possible!
Jura Circus School offers students a fun introduction to the main disciplines of the circus arts. Guided by a recognised and experienced instructor, the students are supervised by a team of professionals thanks to the Sport-Art-Study structure. They discover the practice of the basic techniques while having fun, so that they can later deepen their knowledge of the techniques that suit them best.
The customer service is open from Monday to Friday from 9.00 AM to 12.30 AM and from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM. Closed on Saturday and Sunday.
