A MONUMENTAL LAND ART FOR CHARLIE CHAPLIN
Summer 2022
Ahead of the arrival of the Tour de France in our region, on 10 July 2022, Chaplin’s World, together with neighbouring towns and villages, has commissioned artist Franck Bonneau for the creation, at Manoir de Ban, of a monumental piece of land art that, seen from the sky, represents The Tramp in Chaplin’s The Kid. Throughout the summer season, visitors will have the opportunity to walk through the work by taking a path around the contours of his face. A fresh and environmentally-friendly discovery!
HOLLYWOOD MONSTERS STEAL THE SHOW

Who is frightened of skeletons, spiders and ghosts? Not you! The entire site will be decorated to celebrate Halloween with your family. A spooky event you’ll remember forever!

"THE KID", exhibition
From March 18 until September 25 2022
Created and produced by the Charlie Chaplin Museum Foundation, this exhibition honours Chaplin through the lens of (his) childhood and resilience, following his incredible journey from alleyway vagabond in London to global celebrity. A tour of discovery that will leave little ones with stars in their eyes!

CHAPLIN’S WORLD IN MUSIC!

To further honour Charlie Chaplin’s musical gift and offer young talented artists the opportunity to perform the music he loved so much within the walls of his home, the Charlie Chaplin Museum Fondation and students of the Conservatoire de musique de Montreux-Vevey-Riviera are delighted to present a selection of musical interludes in the Manoir at Chaplin’s World.

CHAPLIN CIRCUS SHOW
From 15 April until 1 May 2022
Immersed in classic circus charm, the big top of the L’Alchimie circus school stands proud in the park of Manoir de Ban, ready to welcome both young and old to discover acts inspired by the musical universe of the Tramp and “The Kid”. Roll up, roll up for poetic acrobatics, joy and festivity!

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of “The Kid,” the Charlie Chaplin Museum Foundation invites you to (re)discover the film with Eugene Chaplin at the Studio in Chaplin’s World. Mr. Eugene Chaplin will discuss his childhood memories at Manoir de Ban.
