The present conditions of sale govern the relationship between consumers purchasing Chaplin's World admission tickets on the Internet and By Grévin SA, a limited company under Swiss law with a capital of 200,000 Swiss francs, having its registered office at Route de Fenil 2, 1804 Corsier-sur-Vevey (Switzerland), whose FDI number is CHE-100.468.361 and federal number is CH-660.0.618.000-4.

Any online purchase of tickets for Chaplin's World from By Grévin SA that falls within the scope of these conditions of sale implies unreserved acceptance of these conditions, notwithstanding any stipulation to the contrary.

1. DEFINITIONS

Terms beginning with a capital letter in these conditions of sale have the following meaning:
- "Buyer": Consumer purchasing a Ticket;
- "Ticket": right of access to Chaplin's World, on one or more specific or unspecified dates;
- "Conditions": the present conditions of sale;
- "Consumer": a natural person acting for purposes that do not fall within the scope of his or her commercial, industrial, craft or professional activity;
- "Chaplin's World": the leisure area dedicated to the actor Charlie Chaplin, located at route de Fenil 2, 1804 Corsier-sur-Vevey (Switzerland), operated by By Grévin SA;
- "Website": the Chaplin's World website at www.chaplinsworld.com.

2. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The Terms apply exclusively to the online sale of Tickets to Consumers.

3. TYPES OF TICKETS

The types of Tickets and their characteristics are detailed on the Website.

4. PURCHASE OF TICKETS

To purchase a Ticket, the Purchaser must log on to the Website and complete the fields required to place an order.

Once the transaction has been finalised, the Purchaser will receive confirmation of his/her purchase by email, together with the Ticket in electronic format.

5. PRICES

The price of the Tickets, in Swiss francs and inclusive of all taxes, is shown on the Website. This price list applies subject to specific promotional offers.
The price of the Tickets is established on the basis of the taxes applicable on the date of entry into force of the Conditions. They may be modified at any time in the event of a change in these taxes.
The price of Tickets does not include meals or any other expenses of a personal nature within Chaplin's World.

6. METHODS OF PAYMENT

The price of Tickets purchased on the Website must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
Payments made on the Website are secured by the use of an encryption process guaranteeing the confidentiality and security of the data.

7. DELIVERY OF TICKETS

Tickets are delivered by email to the address indicated by the Purchaser at the time of purchase. By Grévin SA does not send Tickets by post, fax or SMS.

8. MODIFICATION, EXCHANGE AND REFUND OF TICKETS

Tickets, even if unused, cannot be modified, exchanged or refunded.

9. VALIDITY OF TICKETS

To be valid, a Ticket must be printed on blank A4 paper.
Tickets give access to Chaplin's World facilities open to the public on the day of the holder's visit, subject to access restrictions based on the age, size or safety of visitors.
By Grévin SA reserves the right to refuse the holder of a Ticket access to Chaplin's World, or to any of its facilities, if the Ticket is illegible, erased, damaged, incomplete, partially printed or falsified.
Ticket holders leaving Chaplin's World may not re-enter with the same Ticket.

10. ENTRY INTO FORCE OF THE CONDITIONS

The Conditions apply to all Ticket purchases from 1 January 2016.

11. MODIFICATION OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By Grévin SA reserves the right to modify all or part of the Terms and Conditions, including the Ticket prices, without prior notice. These modifications will come into force on the date indicated in the Conditions.

12. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with the provisions of articles 8 and 9 of the Federal Data Protection Act of 19 June 1992, the personal data collected from a Buyer is processed electronically for the purpose of managing visitor access to Chaplin's World and, with the Buyer's consent, for the purpose of sending commercial offers. The recipients of the data are By Grévin SA and, with the agreement of the Buyer, the commercial partners of By Grévin SA.
Any person whose data has been collected has a right of access, rectification and deletion of such data, which may be exercised by contacting By Grévin SA (Chaplin's World - By Grévin SA, personal data processing, Route de Fenil 2, 1804 Corsier-sur-Vevey - tel: +41 21 903 01 30 - email: contact@chaplinsworld.com).

13. LIABILITY

By Grévin SA declines all liability for the expulsion from Chaplin's World of a visitor who has violated the internal regulations of these areas. The said visitor shall not be entitled to any compensation whatsoever or to any refund of his Ticket.
By Grévin SA reserves the right to refuse the holder of a Ticket access to Chaplin's World, or to any of the attractions, shows or facilities, on the chosen day of the visit, for example due to high attendance, weather conditions or maintenance operations, without the holder of the Ticket being able to claim any compensation whatsoever or any reimbursement of his/her Ticket.
By Grévin SA, which is only bound by an obligation of means with regard to online sales, may not be held liable for any damage inherent in the use of the Internet network, in particular a break in service or the presence of a computer virus.

14. INSURANCE

By Grévin SA has taken out a civil liability insurance policy with Axa Assurances SA (Winterthur; policy n°15.313.841).
This insurance policy covers the consequences of civil liability that By Grévin SA may incur as a result of bodily injury, material and immaterial damage caused to its customers or to third parties as a result of fault, error or negligence in the course of its professional activity as a leisure activity manager, up to a maximum of CHF 10'000'000 per event.

15. CLAIMS

Any complaint relating to the purchase of a Ticket must be addressed to By Grévin SA (Chaplin's World - By Grévin SA, personal data processing, Route de Fenil 2, 1804 Corsier-sur-Vevey - tel: +41 21 903 01 30 - email: : contact@chaplinsworld.com).

16. APPLICABLE LAW

The Terms are governed by Swiss law.
